Highlander
A charming adaptation of a Scottish Clan Chief’s (ceannard cinnidh’s) crest depicting two Scottish soldiers from the 17th Century about to go and fight in the Thirty Years’ War.
A Clan Chief
In early times Scottish clan members believed themselves to descend from a common ancestor, the founder of the clan, after whom the clan is named. The Clan Chief is the representative of this founder, and represents the clan. The Chief was trusted to protect the territory of the clan, their dùthchas (heritage) and all those within it. If a clan gave their oighreachd (estate) to the clan leader, the Chief became the owner of the land as recognised by the Crown.
The range features two colour variations, both available as a 52cm (20.47″) wide roll.
All wallpapers are made to order and take approximately 6 weeks to complete. Due to the bespoke nature of the production process, small colour variations may occur between samples and delivered rolls.
This is a paste to wall product and cross lining a wall in preparation is recommended before hanging the wallpaper.
