Maharaja’s Tent
Decorative textiles made for the Royal Courts of India were some of the most luxurious and elaborate known in history. Highly prized for their exquisite craftsmanship and rich materials, they had evolved from ancient traditions, through the Mughal era and beyond.
Imperial workshops produced opulent wall hangings and textiles, often incorporating European and Persian design elements. They were sometimes hung as lavish decorations for the interiors of tents.
All wallpapers are made to order and take approximately 7 weeks to complete. Due to the bespoke nature of the production process, small colour variations may occur between samples and delivered rolls.
This is a paste to wall product and cross lining a wall in preparation is recommended before hanging the wallpaper.
